Tough Loss in Indiana

The Tigers came off a big win heading into DePauw on Saturday. With freezing conditions, Trinity stepped into a rough stadium where home-field advantage was very clear. The Tigers were penalized for every little mistake while DePauw seemed to be playing perfect. DePauw was down 10-6 going into the half while Dickinson sustained a concussion causing junior Rob Davidson to come in at quarterback. Things looked good at first, but once the second half came, it was ugly to say the least. DePauw unexpectedly ran all over the Trinity defense while the offense just couldn't get anything going. The Tigers ended up losing 26-18 which put an end to the Tigers playoff hopes going into the final stretch of the season. Though there is much disappointment from this loss, things look good for the future. Most of the Tigers team consists of sophomore's or freshmen who are receiving playing time more than usual. This is the one positive light to a very dark weekend in Indiana. Also, Dickinson seemed to be feeling better and Trinity can expect him to return more ready than ever as long as he can hold off Davidson. It's an interesting future for the Tigers but one can only hope for the best.
