Tigers are Struggling

Coming off a playoff ending loss to DePauw, Trinity was down but still wanted to salvage some pride the next week against Azuza Pacific. Having no idea what this team was going to be like, Trinity practiced as hard as they could for this home game. Azuza Pacific is a NIAA team that is able to give out scholarships so it was clear they were going to have a different type of athlete. With Dickinson sidelined with a concussion, Robert Davidson stepped in and struggled against a superior opponent. Azuza came out firing and it seemed like they couldn't be stopped. The Tigers ended up losing 55-27 in one of the worst home losses in Trinity University history. It seems that all is lost but the future is bright for the Tigers as they are a very young team. Next week the Tigers will go against another good team in Centre and one can only hope that they can salvage a win before the end of the season.
