Tigers Go Out with a Bang

The Trinity football team was looking at its worst heading into its last two games of the season. Morale was down, practices seemed dreary and unmotivated. But all this changed when it came to Saturday's game vs. Centre. Centre was on the brink of a conference title and all they had to do was beat Trinity at home and it was over. Little did they know, the Tigers were not going to lose their last home game. Everyone played lights out including the seniors who were playing there last home game ever. Trinity came out and dominated Centre lead by senior running back Chris Baer who showed his true ability in this game. Coming off this win the Tigers went into their last game against Austin College in Sherman, Texas. The Tiger got off to an early lead and did not look back as they destroyed the Roos in a blowout victory. Overall it was an exciting year of Trinity Football ending with a 7-3 record. The Tigers only have high hopes for next season as many of their starters are returning. I enjoyed writing this blog and I hope you enjoyed reading it. See you next season.
